The premise.
Honeycomb AI is a B2B SaaS platform used by the restaurant and hospitality industry to connect vendors and suppliers with less friction. I was hired to build a brand identity and marketing site that felt crafted and technical without reading cold—something operators could trust on a busy service floor and procurement teams could take seriously in a spreadsheet-heavy workflow.
The premise was to anchor the story in clarity and throughput: fast scanning, obvious hierarchy, and a color system that signals “operational” more than “playful startup.” Typography pairs a calm sans for UI density with the display face for moments of brand warmth. Imagery and layout borrow from kitchen pass rails and ticket language—enough metaphor to feel human, not so much that it gets in the way of explaining what the product does.
Across the gallery screens below, the work moves from foundational layouts into component-scale decisions—cards, tables, and calls to action that had to survive long copy, dense data, and repeated daily use. The goal was a system that scales: new pages should feel like siblings of the homepage, not one-off compositions.
The system, in pieces.
